Macro Photography in the field
Spend the morning in the field with Steve Gettle learning about the fascinating world of macro photography. Participants will learn how to use basic equipment to make beautiful images of things in the realm of the small, from the size of a butterfly to as small as a tiny snow crystal. We will discuss such things as maximizing depth of field, and controlling both the light as well as the background.
Students should have a basic understanding of their camera as well as a tripod and either a macro lens, extension tubes or a diopter for close-up work.
