Photo of the Week Eye Contact

This image was created in Bosque Del Apache National Park, in New Mexico. I was standing on one of the wildlife viewing platforms when this fellow showed up. I would love to tell you it was only due to my amazing reflexes and skill with the camera that I was able to capture this image, as this bird whizzed by at 37 miles per hour. But the truth is he was virtually hovering in front of me into a very stiff head wind, actually making this shot fairly simple. But hey if you’re not out there you won’t get lucky right? The eye contact was an added bonus as well.

Good Luck and Good Light!
