Photography Tour

Ecuador is one of the richest places we know for bird photography and on this trip, you will not only photograph at bird blinds designed for photographers but also use high-speed flash to freeze the action of some of the 130 species of diverse and colorful hummingbirds found here. Experience completely different bird species as we visit locations that range from 4,500 to 9,000 feet in elevation. From the valleys of Tandayapa and foothills of Sumaco to the mountain tops of the Andes, this trip will take you on a marvelous tour of bird and habitat diversity.

Bosque Del Apache Flight School

Photography Workshop

It’s time for Flight School! Bosque is the premiere location to learn, practice and hone your flight photography skills. With tens of thousands of Sandhill Cranes and Snow Geese and the backdrop of gorgeous New Mexico landscapes, you will be immersed in a target-rich environment with real time field and classroom instruction and feedback. This is a short but intensive workshop designed to take you from the slow easy flight of Sandhill cranes through to the fast flight of Wigeons and other waterfowl!

Imagine frosty bison wandering through icy steam-veiled geysers, while wolves, otters, bighorn sheep, elk, coyotes, and foxes add life to the breathtaking winter scene. We work the park from three locations using luxury snowcoaches and a spacious private bus.
